Unleash your creativity and transform your pottery surfaces in our hands-on Slip Decoration Workshop. This immersive session is designed for ceramic enthusiasts eager to move beyond basic glazing and explore the rich, expressive world of liquid clay. Guided by expert tuition, you will discover how to use contrasting and coloured slips to add vibrant patterns, dynamic movement, and rich tactile textures to your ceramic forms. The workshop will involve: - Mixing slip to the right consistency and getting a solid layer - Brushing techniques - Sgraffito - Piping (trailing) - Paper resist You will make your own plate samples on the session or bring your own work (don’t let them get too dry)! The session will run with a minimum of 3 bookings. Pieces will be ready for collection around 3-4 weeks after the session, we hold onto work for up to 2 months. ------------------------------------------- Cancelling/ Rescheduling bookings: **** Please note: All sessions and courses are non refundable/non transferable once the booking is placed unless agreed upon under the discretion of the business owners **** ***Any group sessions (5 or more people) will be required to pay a 50% non refundable/non transferable deposit at the time of booking, the remaining balance will then need to be settled a week before the session is due to take place. Any group sessions booked within 7 days or less will be required to pay in full at the time of booking ***
