Service Description

Discover the art of hand-building with Fatclay at the inspiring Rushmere Farm, set in the heart of the South Downs National Park. In this relaxed and creative workshop, you’ll learn to shape and sculpt clay using your hands, simple tools, and imagination. Perfect for beginners or those looking to reconnect with a slower, more mindful craft, all within a beautiful rural setting surrounded by nature. ►What You Get: • An introductory workshop focused on hand-building techniques. • All materials and firing to bisque ware (first firing) are included in the cost. • The satisfaction of creating unique artwork. ►Collection & Finishing • Please email us 4–5 weeks after your workshop to arrange collection of your finished pieces. Once ready, we can store your work for up to 2 months—after this time, pieces may be discarded due to limited space. ►Key Details & Requirements • Minimum Age: Participants must be a minimum age of 16. • Minimum Booking: The class will only run if there is a minimum of 4 bookings.
